Its bloody Magical

A life which is only limited to one bed, just in one room, too much helpless could not even think of doing anything but wanted to do many things. He is just fighting with his fate and long term illness which is killing each and every body organ of him. What should he do? Should he apply to the court for euthanasia? Well no more surprise left it is the story of Guzarish.

Guzarish is a story of a magician who because of accident got paralyzed. The only thing which he could move his mouth. Life would be difficult without his nurse, a beautiful Aishwarya Rai, who takes control of each and every thing. The magician believes in life and believes that everyone should respect it. He is now a famous RJ. On one fine day he appealed to the court for mercy killing i.e. Euthanasia. As usual the Indian government declined his case because Indian law still doesn’t consider mercy killing.

He once again applied for the same thing in same court but this time he too went to the court. No need to tell what happens rest, also I do not want to write story part of the movie. It is one of those movie which you should not miss. I mean in recent times, in the era of movies like golmal3, action replay etc it is one movie which will bring back your faith to hindi movies.

Bollywood has got so many directors who can actually try to make something “hatke”. It is one such attempt. I mean now Bolly directors have started making good movies on serious issues. Be it Taare Zameen Per, Black or may be Karthik calling Karthik Indian directors are just making scene better.

I remember watching Anand again and again for its great story and enthusiasm of Rajesh Khanna. I agree that Guzarish is not Anand but still it is good attempt. One could see the pain of such person in the last court scene where Hrithik tells a lawyer to spend 60 seconds in the box. One could see the fate of such person who lost so many things on that single day. Still the humor shown in the movie is just mind blowing. 

Movie has very limited number of main characters. It is the Hrithik Roshan who stole the show just with his expressions because rest of his body was paralyzed in the movie. Still playing the character is not at all easy and only actor like Hrithik could think of doing such roles that’s too with élan.  Aishwarya Rai has very limited scope of doing anything in the movie but she did it well. Just watch her in “UDI” song to enjoy the real Aishwarya in the movie.

No words could describe the great efforts put by Sanjay Leela Bhanshali in the movie. Being famous for his esthetic sets, he did not leave any coin unturned in this movie too. The direction is no doubt was best. He made sure that each and every character will live his life. In this movie he tried his hands in music too and scored well with it too. Guzarish and Udi songs are my favorite take from the movie which makes you fall in love with your life once again.

Movie has its share of ups and downs but in both the sides’ movie scored really well. I wiped my tears several times in the movie. No need to say it is new entrant in my favorite movie list.
